How To Play

This works like any one armed bandit, except you don't put cash in and so none is payed out. The symbols are slightly different too, as you might expect. Each represents:

To "win" you need to get the same symbol twice or three times in any combination. You "win" an apt comment on the combination shown, some good some (involving supervisors mostly) bad.

Background

If this runs really quickly for you (it does for me in everything but Netscape 3 for the PC) which I think is a problem with the threads in this applet (though I get no warnings or errors on compile, for what that's worth), then click here for the smoother, slower running version.

This applet was written by me using Microsoft Visual J++ V1.1 (Trial Version, thanks Bill) (the Netscape problem persisted when I put it through the Sun JDK). The graphics (like nearly all Mr Postgrad images) were created in Deluxe Paint IV on my Amiga.
