| Proton made some,
but not a great deal of progress during 2004, which was kind of
inevitable given they are a young team and had two drivers unused to
racing at this level in the UK. Watson-Smith finished 14th and Hairuman
didn't score a point. It's good to see them supporting a home grown driver though of course. You could see them coming on as the year went on. |
